I would like to extend my deepest thanks and appreciation for the
outstanding work that you did with the construction of the new
custom home which you recently built for us in the Wind River addition.
I spent a great deal of time searching for a custom home builder who
would be able to construct a beautiful, well-built dwelling and would work
with me and answer any question I might have. I was looking for someone
that was highly experienced, honest, and does not cut corners. After
much research and careful selection, you were the obvious choice. I am
very grateful that I chose you to build my family's home, it is truly magnificent.
As you know, I have been a construction inspector for the last 30
years, and was able to inspect the work and materials which you
specified and were used/ constructed under your direct supervision.
I had several of my associates, with skills in a variety of trades, meet with
me at the project site to check on the quality of the work and the
materials used.
During framing, the walls and members were checked for both plumb
and square, each and every area checked were true in square and
within 0.30 degrees of true vertical (many areas were exactly 90 degrees)
on both floors. All of the king studs, joist, ridge boards, rafters, jacks,
lintels, sill plates, ect. were properly constructed, even over-constructed
to ensure for an extremely well-built home, able to support all loads and
forces. This exemplifies workmanship performed by a master framing
crew.
Plumbing materials were of the highest quality; Aquapex lines with brass
fittings were used, all gravity lines showed positive drainage, and HVAC
was neatly installed while using high-efficiency products.
The roofing materials included high-quality underlayment, felt paper,
water and ice protection, and 30 year fiberglass shingles, all of which were
properly installed.
The masonry work, mill work (trim/cabinets) and flooring work are except-
ionally nice. The painting crew's work is probably the finest I have ever
seen, they were meticulous in prep work and the use of primers, paints,
glazes and stains compare to what you would expect to see in high-end
custom homes, resorts, and up-scale buildings.
Every other aspect of the home is phenomenal, and it is such a pleasure
to own a nice home which is truly wonderful, a real work of art. I know my
home will last a very long time and words alone cannot express my
sincere gratitude to you.
I would recommend you, without hesitation, to anyone considering building
a custom home. Even the most discerning customer will be greatly pleased.
